Let me just say that I am extremely touched by your peace offering. I know now that I will have a truly special Christmas as I have come to know its meaning. Your healing words have released me from the torment that had become my closest friend since I was first accused of violating your home.

I no longer carry the tremendous burden of guilt for doing what I did to pay you back for the pain you caused me and I now hope you never find out about it so you won't have to suffer like I did. 

But even if you do find out some day, please take comfort in knowing that it was not me but another driven temporarily insane by the pain of being falsely accused by a friend, a term I hope we can one day use again to describe one another as we belt a few down.
