HOGGIES PROTEST FROM 29-TIME LOSER

Upon reviewing the list of entries for the Hoggies, I was appalled to see that someone voted for Butch Hoover for Hog of the Year.  I know that I've lost that award for 29 years in a row, but this is ridiculous!

Travesty

The only explanation for this travesty is that he must have written in and voted for himself.  I know that voting for oneself is the Hog thing to do (although not all Hogs do this and some suffer for it for eternity), but I can’t see Mr. Hoover, a long-time resident of la la land, a/k/a California, as Hog of the Year.  Let’s look at this mathematically:

Equation 1:            George + California = Sober

Equation 2:            Benny + California = Dead

Considering that he is not in the same category as these two Superhogs, one must conclude that Mr. Hoover’s performance, by his association with California, is lower than sobriety and death.  Obviously this does not qualify for Hog of the Year material.

In order to correct this travesty of Hog justice, I enter a negative vote for Mr. Hoover, thus canceling his vote and erasing him from consideration.

Do the Math! Eliminate Butch Hoover as a Hog of the Year candidate.

Webmaster replies:  The final vote tally for 2001 Hog of the Year has been adjusted to reflect Booze's protest vote.  However, since he used his vote as a negative, he forfeits his right to vote for himself.  Since nobody else voted for Booze, the revised vote tally is as follows:  Not Booze - 100%, Booze - 0%, Butch Hoover - 0%.  Congratulations to Booze on becoming a 29-time loser for Hog of the Year.  Does anyone want to bet against him extending the streak to 30 next year?
